Tipsy Tommy’s was built on family, hard work, unforgettable memories, and the spirit of people who truly know how to enjoy life.

Siblings Ed & Tami bring over 40 years of combined restaurant experience to the table. Tami started in the restaurant business in 2006, helping run their mother’s place and learning how important good food, good service, and treating people like family really is.

Ed also worked there for several years before eventually opening Charlie’s 2. After selling Charlie’s 2, he stepped away from the restaurant business for nearly 10 years. But the restaurant life always called him back.

That passion returned when Ed opened 9ers, a local favorite known for great food, BBQ, sports, laughs, and bringing people together. After closing 9ers to take a break, fate stepped in when one of Tami’s longtime customers mentioned a building available for lease.

That single conversation sparked something bigger.

Ed encouraged Tami to take the leap and build something special together — not just another bar or restaurant, but a place built around family, fun, and the memory of their brother Tommy.

Tommy was larger than life. Loud, funny, full of energy, and always ready for a good time. He loved cold beer, chicken wings, sports, loud music, and nights that turned into unforgettable stories. If Tommy walked into a room, you knew it instantly.

And Tami?
Let’s say she can make anybody laugh. Her mouth alone deserves its own warning label. She’s quick-witted, hilarious, loud in the best way possible (uhm maybe not )and never afraid to say exactly what’s on her mind. Between Tommy’s wild personality and Tami’s nonstop humor, there was never a dull moment.

Ed brings the hard work, vision, and restaurant experience that helped turn the dream into reality. In contrast, Tami brings the personality, fun, and energy that make people feel like family the second they walk through the doors.

Together, they created Tipsy Tommy’s to feel like home — if home had smoked BBQ, cold beer, sports on every TV, loud laughs, and parking lot shenanigans.

Tommy passed away far too early, but his spirit lives on here every single day.
